    STEM Volunteer Opportunities - Make A Difference & Encourage Young Engineers

    What: Tampa MathCounts Competition

    When: 7am - 4pm on Friday, February 2, 2018

     

    Where: Bryan Glazer Family JCC, 522 N Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606

     

    Details: Schedule starts with registration, then introductions for the participating schools. Volunteers needed the most for scoring the different math exams (multiple choice exams) which will be after introductions. Those exams (2 - 3 exams) will occur from about 8am until about 2pm. That is when we need the most volunteers.

    Volunteers can split their time in different time slots within that time range (8am to 2 pm)

    What: 2018 Tampa Engineers Week STEM Outreach - Call for Volunteers

     

    When: 12pm -2pm on Saturday, February 10, 2018 (All volunteers arrive by 11:30am.)

     

    Where: Glazer's Children Museum located at 110 W Gasparilla Plaza, Tampa FL 33602

     

    Details: The event will be held on the 3rd Floor of the Museum. When you arrive check in at the front desk and let them know you are volunteering with our group. Volunteers are needed to participate in the Tampa Bay Engineer's Week Outreach Program. All volunteers will enjoy a fun afternoon at the Children's Museum talking to kids of all ages about engineering. For the event, you will stationed at an interactive STEM activity where you can help teach kids basic engineering principals and help to inspire our next generation of engineers to go into our profession! We have a number of fun interactive activities in store for this year's Adventure through Candy Land --Inspiring Wonder through Engineering Outreach.

     

    It will be a fun afternoon that you won't want to miss!!
